It was recently announced in Inc. Magazine that Hyperquake joined the 2018 Inc. 5000 List of America’s Fastest-Growing Private Companies, which was a first-time recognition for our agency (and hopefully the one of many more to come!).
The list recognizes many of the most successful independent small businesses, which is a very competitive category within our region. We are honored to be included on the same list as some of favorite brands like Pelton and Choozle — and even a couple of clients with whom we’ve been fortunate enough to work in the past, including PureRomance and The Garage Group.
While Hyperquake is thrilled to have been named on the list, this recognition wasn’t out of the blue. We have been creating our own evolution over the past few years. In 2016, Colin Crotty, CEO, and Dan Barczak, Chief Creative Officer, acquired 100% of Hyperquake from its founding partners, and have since continued to increase overall revenue by 50%. And just recently, Hyperquake strategically joined forces with The Brand Experience, a team of locally-based Storybuilders, that focuses on bringing brand stories to life in physical spaces, such as innovation centers, events and mobile tours — essentially museum-like centers for adults, which we anticipate will lead to continued growth and exposure for both brands and their clients.
The vision for Hyperquake remains focused on increasing our exposure in three ways: organic growth by way of product and service expansion, new client acquisition, and strategic acquisition. Best stated by Colin Crotty: “We are growing, but we want to be smart about our growth.” And with some of the industry’s most talented creative and strategic thought leaders, we hope to continue to join the list in years to come.
