WHEN DID YOU START WORKING AT HYPERQUAKE?
Although it seems I have known the folks at Hyperquake my entire life, I have been here for one year and 3 months.
WHERE WERE YOU BORN AND RAISED?
I was born in Cincinnati, went to Roger Bacon for all of you Cincinnati folks.
WHAT HOBBIES OR PASSIONS DO YOU HAVE?
I am very involved in coaching volleyball and continuing to play at a high level. I am the head varsity volleyball coach at McAuley High School and have coached club volleyball across many age groups for over 10 years. I enjoy giving back and thrive off of the competitive nature of athletics, it takes me back to my high school and college career.
I also really like traveling and exploring new places. I have a personal goal to see all 50 states and experience the different lifestyles and landscapes within the USA. I also enjoy international travel and want to do more of it. Norway and Chile are two of the prettiest places I have personally seen.
Even though I live an agency life that is sometimes hectic, I do love being outdoors and stepping away from all of the hustle and bustle and just enjoying life. I spend time on my parents farm; horseback riding, fishing, and enjoying whatever adventure is in front of me. I also really like the sun.. No, like really enjoy it…. Boating and being on the water is extremely relaxing.
Oh yeah, I also have a passion for winter and “vest season”…. It is a slight addiction.
WHAT ARE SOME OF YOUR FAVORITE BANDS, T.V. SHOWS, AND MOVIES?
I like all kinds of music, really hard to pick my favorite.
I can’t really get into t.v. shows or movies, my attention span is really short when it comes to just lounging, I usually just fall asleep.
WHAT MADE YOU WANT TO GET INTO YOUR FIELD OF WORK?
A mentor of mine was telling me about the agency she worked at and I saw how much passion and energy she had around the work her team was conquering. She mentioned that within Client Services, you always have to “be on” and willing to support in any capacity, which sounded exactly what I was looking for. When I actually learned about the work that happens within a branding agency and the creative and strategic thinking that must happen, my resume was immediately submitted. Ever since, I have enjoyed the fast paced industry and it keeps me honest, on my “A game” all of the time, and definitely keeps me up to speed on what is happening across a variety of industries.
WHO ARE SOME OF YOUR FAVORITE CLIENTS YOU’VE WORKED WITH IN YOUR CAREER AND WHY?
I think it would be safe to say that I have enjoyed working with all of my clients. Every client brings a different challenge to the table and they have all grown me within my career in some capacity. I like solving problems that are sometimes so tricky that even our clients can’t articulate. I like to help, plan, organize, and think for my clients.
WHAT HAS BEEN YOUR FAVORITE EXPERIENCE AT HYPERQUAKE?
Hands down, getting to know the people at Hyperquake and truly understanding how lucky I am to have been provided this opportunity. From ownership to peers, I feel like I have a second family that truly enjoys each other and everyone strives for excellence, it’s a good feeling.
WHAT ARE YOUR FAVORITE TYPES OF PROJECTS?
I have not come across many projects that I have not enjoyed. I honestly try to learn from every opportunity I am given.
WHO OR WHAT INSPIRES YOU?
People, travel, food, sun, water, sports
WHAT DO YOU WANT TO LEARN MORE ABOUT?
I want/enjoy learning about my clients business and roles and responsibilities. Marketing, R&D, and Design functions really intrigue me and I am always looking for ways to help and build relationships with smart and intelligent individuals!
