Post 34 takes pride in sourcing only local raw materials to build uniquely custom woodcrafts — and needed a brand that could hold up to their fine attention to detail and powerful origin story.


In 2014 Steve Wall founded Post 34, turning the hobby that bonded him with his father into a profession. He left his traditional white-collar, 9-5 job in pursuit of independence and creativity.

Post 34 champions quality and storytelling through the creation of bespoke furniture and genuine woodcrafts. Inspired by the history of items swapped at trading posts of the past, Post 34 believes in the rich storytelling power of relics that can be passed down through generations, each owner adding to the story of an object.


As creatives, we approached the story as an expert carpenter at the cutting room table. We started with joining legs to frames, sanding table tops and staining cutting boards – Hyperquake took great care to carefully piece together each and every aspect of the Post 34 brand.

Hyperquake articulated a familiar story in a modern style, while visualizing a historic craft with an approachable identity. Post 34 has seen a surge in order requests.
